Yes, a security deposit of $250 (with approved credit) or 1 month's rent (with conditional credit) is required at move-in.

Yes, there is a non-refundable application fee of $25 per adult due at the time the application is submitted. 

To qualify for housing, the total household income must fall within the following limits based on household size.

Household income includes all sources of income, such as wages, benefits, and other financial assets.

Applicants must provide documentation verifying their income to determine eligibility.

Dogs, cats, birds, turtles and fish in small aquariums (20-gallon max) are welcome. A maximum of two dogs, cats or birds in any combination are permitted in each apartment with a maximum weight of 35lbs full-grown. A refundable pet deposit of $300 will be required at move-in and a monthly fee of $25.00 per cat or dog.
*Management must see all pets prior to their move in and has the right to deny any pet that may violate the community rules and regulations or be a danger to the community.

Yes, Chimes does accept vouchers. Voucher holders do not have a minimum income requirement but must meet all the other requirements.

An initial credit screening report will be obtained through a commercial credit reporting agency, which will determine whether the credit screening is accepted or denied. If accepted, a criminal screening report will be obtained to determine continuance of application processing.

Credit/Rental History:

  • Negative credit history may result in denial.
  • Rental history must reflect on-time payments and proper property care. Outstanding balances at any Habitat America property will result in automatic denial.
  • Applicants must be able to establish utilities and have no unpaid gas or electric balances.
  • Discharged bankruptcies are considered after one year from the discharge date.
  • Medical bills and student loans are not factored into the review.
Criminal Background History: Applicants will be denied if any household member meets any of the following:
  • Has been evicted from federally assisted housing for drug-related activity, or is currently engaged in illegal drug use.
  • Has a felony conviction related to drugs — including possession (excluding marijuana), distribution, sale, manufacture, or storage of illegal substances or paraphernalia.
  • Is subject to lifetime registration under any state or federal sex offender program.
  • Has any felony conviction that poses a threat to the health, safety, or well-being of other residents, property staff, or the integrity of the property.

Yes, there is storage space available as well as designated bicycle storage. 

Parking is located in our two-story underground parking garage located beneath the building.

Smoking is not permitted in the units or anywhere on property grounds.
